IRS Extends Filing Deadline to 10/15 for a Rebate

This article on BND.com discusses the IRS extending tax filing deadlines from April 15 to October 15. For those that currently collect Social Security Disability (SSDI and SSI Disability), this means if you have not filed already you may qualify still for a tax rebate.

"Don't worry if you did not file a return by April 15," IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman said in a statement. "If you meet the criteria, you are still eligible for a stimulus payment."

If you file your taxes by 10/15, the IRS can process payments until the end of this year.
